HonorSociety.org and Zappos Announce Internship Partnership for College Students
HonorSociety.org and Zappos announced this month their internship partnership for college internship opportunities at the Zappos headquarters in Downtown Las Vegas, NV for 2016. The partnership was established as a way for more high achieving college students to gain real world work experience. The 2016 Zappos 10 week internship program runs from June 13, 2016 to August 19th, 2016.
The Zappos internship program is a unique summer internship experience where interns not only gain real world work experience, but become valued members of the company. Zappos interns are immersed in the one-of-a-kind Zappos culture which allows them to learn the skills needed to excel in the workplace after graduation.
Internship positions available include Software Engineering, User Research and User Experience, Merchandising Assistant, Search Engine Marketing, and Business Operations & Analytics, ensuring that there is a fit at the company for the intern’s career goals. The internships are available during the summer to juniors and seniors pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. As interns, students work within the Zappos teams to drive projects and make a meaningful impact on the company.

After myself and the HonorSociety.org team visited the Zappos headquarters earlier this year, I knew this was the type of internship program that our high achieving members can gain valuable and meaningful real work experience,” said Michael Moradian, the HonorSociety.org Executive Director.
Zappos interns are encouraged to take what they are passionate about and run with it to make an impact and feel like a member of the team. Interns do real work from coding to creating images for the website and communicating with vendors. Zappos interns feel that they are contributing and making a difference.
Beyond the scope of the workday, Zappos interns develop friendships despite coming from all across the United States. Interns are provided with housing and live close by during the summer internship, making it easy and fun to go to dinner together and explore all the Nevada has to offer.
Students who are interested in applying for a Zappos Summer 2016 internship must be currently enrolled in a U.S. accredited college or university, in junior or senior standing pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, and have an expected graduation date between May 2016 and June 2017.
The internship application opens January 25th, 2016 and closes February 5th, 2016.
