Maren Hawkins from University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee is a graduate achiever scholarship recipient. “In addition to my current studies, I also volunteer with two local non-profits focused on community health and well-being, work as a Personal Trainer to promote healthy behaviors, and conduct research on the relationship between health literacy and population health. I am incredibly grateful for this scholarship as it will greatly enhance my education; it will allow me to devote more time to my school work and research by reducing my financial burden.
